A small number of custom large-sized "top ten" chart were printed by CHUM for display above the 45 RPM record bins at the major record retailers in Toronto (eg Sam The Record Man, Sayers, A & A records, etc.). This special chart shows the top 10 "single" records for the week of january 27 1964 and shows clearly that The Beatles were at the top of the Toronto charts two weeks before they appeared for the very first time on the Ed Sullivan Show on February 9 1964. In fact The Beatles had 3 singles in the top ten ... WOW !!!
